SUMMER 2020 INTERNSHIPS

Summer Program Evaluation Intern
Support our Program Manager with program evaluation and impact efforts, student story collection and curation, survey data management, video tagging, and demographics reporting. Expect to contribute 5-10 hours per week.
Content Creation Lab Team Leader
Participation in orientation and leadership development sessions
- Regular meetings with your team of global high school students
- Active participation in the creation of your team’s work products
- Tracking of your individual team members’ and entire group’s assignments
- Ambassadorship for Global Nomads Group
Virtual Summer Intern: Discussion Group Facilitator
After a training session with GNG staff, you’ll join Live Events with student participants from around the world. Throughout the event, the students will be split up into small breakout rooms to discuss their own ideas and perspectives on the Live Event topics. Each breakout room is led by a Discussion Group Facilitator. As a Discussion Group Facilitator you will be leading the breakout sessions with the given questions. Your role consists of being a guide, questioner, peacemaker, taskmaster, and praiser.
Community and Communications Intern
You will be supporting with SATT social media and community engagement by researching ways to organically grow the community and testing ways to increase our reach among youth. Expect to contribute 5-10 hours per week.
As a GNG Facilitator, you will participate in two hour-long training sessions to prepare for the live events. The first training will focus on skills to facilitate a successful online dialogue via Zoom. The second training will focus on the live event topic and the corresponding discussion questions that you’ll guide youth participants through in the breakout rooms. After successfully completing both training sessions, you’ll join the Live Event with youth participants from around the world. Throughout the event, youth will be split up into small breakout rooms to discuss their own ideas and perspectives on the Live Event topic. As a Facilitator you will be leading youth in the breakout room with the prepared discussion questions. Your role consists of being a guide, questioner, peacemaker, taskmaster, and praiser.
