This course emphasizes global interconnectedness and encourages youth to learn how they can contribute to discussions about human rights in meaningful ways.
Global Nomads uses the power of storytelling to promote empathy and bring social topics to life through day-to-day realities. Participating youth read authentic, impactful stories from youth participants around the world that reveal deep truths about global issues, then enhance the conversation by sharing their own stories with fellow Student to World users. All participants are eligible to participate in moderated live conversations with other youth from around the world.

Examine marginalized identities to explore how factors of equity, equality, and justice affect an individual’s unique experience of human rights.

Youth explore the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN and, through story sharing, investigate the importance of a Sustainable Development Goal of their choice.

Everyday Action
Youth design action plans for supporting human rights individually, locally, and globally.
