Film & Media

Film & Media provides youth with the knowledge and skills needed to explore a career in this field. Youth analyze how stories are represented in media, while considering accuracy, ethical storytelling, and creative expression. They explore the impact of digital media, from social platforms to film production, and learn how industry professionals create compelling content while reducing their environmental footprint. The curriculum highlights essential topics for anyone interested in producing, writing, or working in media. Global Nomads uses the power of storytelling to promote empathy and bring social topics to life through day-to-day realities. Participating youth read authentic, impactful stories from youth participants around the world that reveal deep truths about global issues, then enhance the conversation by sharing their own stories with fellow Student to World users. All participants are eligible to participate in moderated live conversations with other youth from around the world.
