Mental Health

Learn about the chemicals in the brain that impact mental health, the stigmas associated with mental health, and ways to promote mental well-being to rewrite the narrative around mental health.

Explore brain chemistry, how to care for oneself, and brain health. With unique features, including youth-generated instructional videos and tips for taking concrete action against mental health stigma and bias, learn about how mental health is addressed globally while working to create a kinder, more compassionate world.

Global Nomads Group leverages the power of storytelling to promote empathy and bring social issues to life through day-to-day realities. Read real, impactful, stories from youth participants around the world that reveal deep truths about global issues. Then youth can enhance the conversation by sharing their own stories with fellow Student to World users and participate in moderated live conversations.

Explore and share stories about the connection between minds and emotions, how specific chemicals in the brain impact mental health, and what one can do to strengthen our mental health.

Module 2: Everyday Stigma

Explore and share stories about local perceptions of mental health and the community stigma related to mental illness.

Module 3: Everyday Screen Free

Explore and share stories about the correlation between excessive social media use, screen time, and mental health.

Module 4: Everyday Action

Design action plans for breaking down mental health stigmas.
