Delna Weil: Assessment Manager

Having lived in Chicago, Buenos Aires, rural France, Silicon Valley, and New York City, Delna is fascinated by cultural diversity and driven by a desire to explore. Her belief in the value of cultural exchange and passion for finding data-driven solutions to global problems brings her to Global Nomads Group.

As Assessment Manager, Delna works to align GNG curriculum with stakeholder needs and educational standards at the school, district, state, and federal level. By developing relevant metrics to demonstrate program impact, she leads efforts to develop data-oriented strategies for improving programs and building key partnerships.

Delna’s prior experience includes teaching English in Guéret, France; and curriculum at the University of Chicago Center for Elementary Mathematics and Science Education. Most recently, she completed a Masters degree in International and Comparative Education program at Stanford, where she conducted research on the economics of vocational education and served as an evaluation consultant for an after-school tutoring organization. Now back to her Barnard College roots in NYC, she enjoys racing around Prospect Park on her bike, practicing her French at Coucou Brooklyn, and volunteering with Edible Schoolyard NYC to teach kids the connection between food, health, and the environment.
