Methodology

Methodology

GNG’s educational methodology is based on four sustainable pillars—the four C’s: CONNECT young people among peers from their same group, as well as across dividing lines; support them to COLLABORATE on projects and discussions about issues relevant to their lives; allow them to CREATE media projects so that they can put into practice the skills learned during the exchanges; and through these projects promote the CHANGE they want to see in their communities.

Program Description

Global Nomads Group offers collaborative, curriculum-based virtual exchange programs for students in grades 7-12. These international education programs are designed to build increased, intercultural youth engagement and global citizenship via fostering awareness and mutual understanding between students worldwide. Global Nomads Group integrates 21st century educational skills of global awareness among youth, and the ‘four-c’s’ of collaboration, critical thinking, communication and creativity via innovative technology into the classroom – which enhance GNG’s ‘4 C’s’. Youth worldwide meet – via videoconferencing and social media – to discuss their similarities and differences, to learn about each other’s cultures, and to understand their peers. Programs are designed to meet State, National and Common Core Standards.
